Fibertech by Wilson Composites, LLC - About Fiberglass
Salt Lake Courts Facility

Strength. Beauty. Performance.

There are many benefits to using the Fibertech brand of fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) and fiberglass reinforced concrete (GFRC) by Wilson Composites, LLC. It produces an unsurpassed building material with an exceptionally high strength-per-dollar cost.

Our Fibertech products do not rot or rust, do not absorb water, cannot be damaged by termites or other insects, and feature a long-lasting composite surface. Unlike painted materials, the surface layer of Fibertech's integral polyester gelcoat will not flake or peel. This layer can also be pigmented with standard or custom color to simulate virtually any material or to achieve practically any effect you desire. (While painting is not required, it is possible.)

Fibertech interior and exterior components are integrally colored to effectively replicate wood, cast stone, painted metal, or any other conventional building material. Precision molding methods allow us to recreate even the most complex shapes or intricate ornamentation.

Light Weight. Easy Installation. Low Maintenance.

Because our Fibertech line of composite materials are lightweight (approximately 2 lbs./sqft for FRP and 4 to 6 lbs/sqft GFRC), they require less structural support than heavy conventional materials, reducing costs. Lightweight components are also easier to handle and install, eliminating the need for heavy-duty crane installation and reducing many other equipment costs, as well.

In addition to being easier and less expensive to install, Fibertech components typically require less maintenance. UV stabilizers prevent fading and deterioration, ensuring outstanding weatherability. To further enhance the composite's properties, flame and smoke retardants and other functional additives may also be used.
